The Final Final Final release of the Firefly

Ending the Firefly Collection at number 9 felt a bit too weird. So what could it be? We had MultiCam Alpine in 500D Cordura nylon with 3M Scotchlite black reflective behind it. It needed something to balance it. The next design should be a yang to this design’s yin. We had already used MultiCam Black (P03), so going 100% literal here wasn’t the move. We realized we could use a different material entirely, as with yin/yang it’s not supposed to be the exact same, but the opposite. So we selected a Carryology favorite, X-Pac, in black. And to push it further out into “equal opposite territory” we opted for an X-Pac using ripstop in the face fabric, for some extra visual flair. It would be made from Dimension Polyant X-Pac VX21 with 3M Scotchlite white reflective behind it. As “yin” = light and “yang” = dark, they would be named and numbered accordingly, with the darkness first and the light being second. P09: light emerging from the darkness. P10: darkness emerging from the light. Balance achieved.
